本作は母親の誕生日に温泉旅行をプレゼントした三姉妹の悲喜こもごもをブラックユーモアたっぷりにつづる家族の物語。舞台はとある温泉宿の一室、それぞれがコンプレックスを抱えながら「母親みたいな人生を送りたくない」と考えている姉妹たちは母親への愚痴を徐々にエスカレートさせ、互いを罵倒し、修羅場へと発展。そこに三女がサプライズで紹介しようとしていた恋人も現れ、物語は思わぬ方向へと転がっていく。
